Location Tips for Greenville, SC
I’m proud to say I’ve grown up in Greenville, SC and I’ve been amazed at how it’s grown over the years. This city is quickly becoming one of the best places to live in the United States and it’s clear why! I’ve compiled a list of 5 locations that I love for engagement photos.
It’s obvious that downtown Greenville is gorgeous. Not only is there a massive waterfall running through downtown, it has so many spaces that make you feel like you’re in nature. Downtown has the best of both worlds when it comes to green spaces and cityscape environments.
Falls Park on The Reedy River
As mentioned before, there’s an epic and awesome waterfall running right through downtown Greenville. It’s a beautiful and spacious area perfect for photos. I often mention to out of towners that this location is a must see for Greenville!
About 20 minutes from downtown is Furman University. The campus is very walkable and visitor friendly. There’s a beautiful lake in the center of the campus that is surrounded by a walking trail and even has a clocktower in the center of it.
Less than an hour from downtown, there are some amazing mountain views right outside of Table Rock State Park. This is a great location if you want that “other-worldly” type feel of amazing mountain views and prairie-like environments.
Lake Jocassee is a bit further from Greenville but also offers amazing scenery. The lake is crystal clear and there are views of mountain tops in the background. It’s perfect for those couples looking for more of an outdoorsy-adventure feel for their engagement photos!
Pick a Location for You!
The location of your photos should be special to you! Needless to say, Greenville has some amazing options but always choose a photo location that makes you feel nostalgic and intimate. I love capturing peoples love where it matters most, and that can be anywhere!
